It’s fringe Friday! Today’s street style post is all about fun and funky fringe. From denim-blue suede to over-the-top gold-foil to a finely-fringed skirt, fringe expresses any mood you’re in. Whether you want to be Americana, a rhinestone cowgirl or like a flirty flapper — do it with fringe! Stay tuned for some fun and fringey pieces for spring and summer at Inner Tie.
Today, we want to take the opportunity to share something special with you. Our Retro Demure Dress by Mikarose appears in Tucson Lifestyle’s March 2014 issue. We’re so excited and grateful for the local support, and love seeing our dress in print. This Fashion Issue focuses on Western Chic, and we’re digging that our lace dress is styled with cowboy boots (not shown) and a straw hat. You can see the same dress with a different look, here.
We’re feeling the love, Tucson. Stay tuned for more local collaborations. Happy Wednesday!
We’re starting the week off with a carefree, no holds barred trend that you can immediately incorporate into your look. We’ve pulled four surfer shade street style looks that run the gamut. These lighthearted sunnies work with just about anything from hot pink and polka dots to feathers and leather. Try this fuchsia dress, this vegan leather dress, or this polka-dotted cardigan. What do we love best about these stylish shades? Minimal makeup required. A little lipgloss or red lipstick and you’re ready to attack the day. Happy Monday!
Pastels and springtime, a classic combination. Which is why we’re continuing our series with this spring trend off the runway. We’ve pulled together four images to inspire you to plunge into pretty pastels without looking like an Easter egg. The looks are lined up from easiest to edgiest. The leftmost street goer tops a black tee, slouchy jeans and heels with a simple pastel blazer. Our next girl ups the ante with an exaggerated peplum jacket and metallic heels. Street goer number three makes a statement by topping a basic black outfit with a patterned, pastel coat and pastel handbag. Our last lady is solely aspirational. A head to toe pastel palette, finished off with white pointy-toe pumps. Spring is just 20 days away, make sure you’re ready.
To build on our spring trends series from last week, we’re curating a collection of images that highlight trends off the runway. First up, the timeless bow. We’ve showed you jewelry, handbags and shoes embellished with bows, now it’s translated into two easy to emulate looks.
Dita Von Teese (left) uses a bow for both form and function. It nips her in at the waist to show off her assets, yet adds femininity. Molly Sims (right) takes a more classic route, wearing a neck-tie blouse (similar here) that creates effortless polish. We can’t wait to wear this prim and proper style from head to toe!

To end our week of ‘Spring Trends,’ we’ve chosen two items full of whimsy. They’re the icing on the cake, the finishing touch, the pièce de résistance of an outfit.
Surfer shades. We heart sunnies (and sunscreen!) and we love this not-so-serious eyewear. We’ll wear them with a casual, yet stylish t-shirt and jeans, or while running errands sans makeup.
And statement necklaces. It’s jewelry that says everything without you saying a word. There’s no shortage of sizes, styles and designs, just make sure to choose one that is all you. We let ours speak volumes against this black dress.
The second edition in our ‘Spring trends' series brings you two more fun and accessible trends: fringe and flats. Fringe can be easily incorporated into any outfit whether it's a bracelet, a bag, a loafer (pictured above), a tassel earring or a necklace that mimics the feel of fringe. Whichever you choose, it’ll instantly add interest to your ensemble. And flats! Where to begin? We love shoes and our feet love flats, so we’re ecstatic about this trend. We’re seeking flats that are elevated to transition from work to play, day to night and even complement a head-turning dress. How will you try these trends?

We know trends can be hard to navigate, so we’re bringing you a series of posts highlighting new accessory trends to make it easier. Throughout the week we’ll show you some of our favorite trends for handbags, jewelry and shoes. We’re starting the series off with ultra-feminine bows and pastels. Both trends carry over from clothing and we can’t get enough of them. Pastels instantly pretty-up any outfit, including a ruffled cream blouse and dark denim. While bows add the perfect amount of polish. We picture these gold pumps (above) with this lace dress.
